Thank you for your inquiry regarding the use of the MWR Life brand.

1. Policies:

We understand that everyone wants to promote their business. However, in an effort to protect the opportunity for everyone involved there must be rules. We call these rules the "Policies and Procedures." (P&Ps)

All Independent Lifestyle Ambassadors must abide by the Policies and Procedures.

Here is a link to the document: https://www.mwrlife.com/content/PoliciesAndProcedures.pdf

Section 4 pertains to the use of websites.

I would highly advise that you read and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Violations of the P&Ps could result in the termination and sometimes legal action.

2. Specifications

a. Logos, Images and Mentions:

The use of logos, images, names relating to Travel Advantage and MWR Life are protected by rights. They are owned by MWR Life and Travel Advantage. You may not use them without prior written consent from the companies concerned.

- Any site which would tend to suggest that it is a site created or managed by MWR Life or Travel Advantage even though it was created without authorization from these companies by an Independent Lifestyle Ambassador or any other person, is prohibited.

- Any site that does not clearly and completely inform consumers/Internet users would be the full responsibility of the person who created it. The latter would therefore be exposed to legal consequences due to non-compliance with the consumer code.

Such a site would be in contradiction with the Policies and Procedures referenced above:

Article 4.4.A:

It is your obligation to ensure your online marketing activities are truthful, are not deceptive and do not mislead customers or potential Independent Lifestyle Ambassadors in any way. Websites and web promotion activities and tactics that mislead or are deceptive, regardless of intent, will not be allowed. This may include representation in any manner that you are an authorized representative for MWR Life, spam linking (or blog spam), unethical search engine optimization (SEO) tactics, misleading click-through ads (i.e., having the display URL of a PPC campaign appear to resolve to an official MWR Life Corporate Site when it goes elsewhere), unapproved banner ads, and unauthorized press releases. MWR Life will be the sole determinant of truthfulness as to whether specific activities are misleading or deceptive.

-     Due to the risk that this could impose on the Independent MWR Life Ambassador as with the company, MWR Life and Travel Advantage reserve the right to suspend or delete the account of the Ambassador(s) concerned without delay.

-     As long as it uses the name or logo of MWR Life or Travel Advantage, any site or tool web communication, created by an Independent Lifestyle Ambassador must carry in a readable and obvious manner for the Internet user:

  • The mention “site created by (your first and last name or company name/logo of your company), Independent Lifestyle Ambassador"
  • This mention at the bottom of the site page is recommended but is not sufficient.
  • This notice must appear upon opening the site.
  • Use of the MWR Life or Travel Advantage logo cannot be done without the addition of this mention with the logo in question, in order not to allow the Internet user to assume that he would be on a company's official site.

- The use of the Travel Advantage or MWR Life logo in the site tab is not authorized:

- You can instead use these logos:

2. Content and information

- The overselling of certain benefits offered by MWR Life or Travel Advantage is totally prohibited. Overselling consists, for example, of giving the consumer hope of a profit greater than it actually is.

  • Examples of oversold and therefore prohibited arguments:

  1. “Save the amount of your subscription in loyalty points each month
  2. which can then be used as a way to travel for free "
  3. “Take advantage of discounted rates up to 60% cheaper” or “Up to XX% savings »
  4. For these 2 examples, you cannot provide any % savings whatever they may be if you are not able to prove that they are at this level on more
  5. half of our offers.
  6. “Clearance prices” or “wholesaler prices” or “cost price”, etc.
  7. It is forbidden to sell at a loss. Selling at the purchase price would amount to this since it would not contribute to covering the company's fixed costs.
  8. “Optimize your budget as much as possible thanks to our prize pools, on hotels” The prize pool principle does not comply with our model, you cannot therefore use this term.
  9. “All memberships are non-binding and can be paused or terminated at any time. » This is false and therefore prohibited! Memberships cannot be paused.

- Testimonials: you cannot use testimonials in writing or reproduced in video or in any way if you do not have the written consent of the persons concerned for the use of their image.

- All information contained on a site (or other digital medium) must be current and available. MWR Life and Travel Advantage regularly introduce new features which may cancel or replace other previously existing ones. It is your responsibility to provide consumers with up-to-date information.

- Errors in wording or logic.

Example :

“SUBSCRIPTION SYSTEM: this model eliminates advertising costs and provides access to low-cost travel. »

How does our business model eliminate advertising costs, which would reduce so the price of travel? This is not correct.

- Inaccuracies

“PRICE GUARANTEE” “if you find cheaper elsewhere for the same hotels, Travel Advantage reimburses you 150% of the difference »

Specify all the conditions of the guarantee or put a * which specifies "see the specific conditions of the guarantee" by indicating an active link which points to a full explanation.

- Comparisons:

When you make a comparison you must respect the following elements:

  1. Do not criticize competitors
  2. Indicate the web address of each site that is part of the comparison, as well as the date, and the time at which these comparisons were made.

The idea is to give the consumer the possibility of verifying the information given for themselves.

Once you have created your online tool per the P&Ps you must submit it for approval.

3. Legal Notice

Any site must comply with current legislation, in particular include the legal notices, the name, first name, email of the administrator, the name of the host, etc.

You will find all these mentions on the internet.

Beware of “dead” links that lead nowhere on certain footer sections.

4. Consequences

In the event of non-compliance with this policy, MWR Life and Travel Advantage reserve the right to suspend or delete the account of the concerned MWR Life Independent Lifestyle Ambassador.
